The Stonybrook Softball team has played 5 games so far this season. Were you there? Did you see it when third baseman Matt Strumeyer hit that amazing home run?!! How about the home run hit by Casey Klugman? Or one of the MANY homers hit by that star player Joe Mendillo?!!
You still have a chance to come out and cheer on our very own Gary “Super Science-Super Fastball” Frankel as he tries to pitch a no-hitter. And it’s a MUST SEE to watch our own Roger ‘fastball’ Black on the mound!!
Many of our staff members participate in the inter-camp softball league. Some of the players include: Ben Denson, Rich Gordon, Jordan Katz, Jon Steinberg, Adam Strumeyer, Jason Weingold, Jeff Wong, Bill Nussbaum, Jesse Jacobs and Sam Abrams.
Come on out and cheer for YOUR team!!! Campers are welcome to bring their parents, siblings and friends!!
We have a game tonight, Tuesday, July 27th at 6:30 at Hillside Elementary School. We also are scheduled to play Jeff Lakes on Friday, the 30th and Livingston Rec on August 6, both at Hanover Park.
Mark your calendar for the week of August 9th, when the Play-off Games begin!! Stonybrook excitement continues well past when your camper gets off the van.
