News Flash: Color War, Fake Break

By Emma F., Rachael G. and Sabrina K.

RANDOLPH, NJ - For weeks, Stonybrook campers have been cheering and hoping for the start of the annual summer ritual of Color War! Friday, during lunch, Matt B. led songs with the campers while all of the lifeguards snuck up to the picnic grove and started screaming with cheers and blue and white streamers.

From their face and body paint to the banner they brought, everyone though it was Color War and everyone became really excited! Suddenly, they held up a big sign that read, "FAKE OUT" and everyone was totally surprised. Campers and counselors are still cheering for the real Color War to begin!
