SAFETY, SAFETY, SAFETY…

Have you met Janis? Janis is our Camp Nurse and has been for twelve years. Janis has been a nurse for more years than she will admit. She has worked at St. Barnabas and Overlook hospitals in the cardiac unit. During the school year, she currently works in the public schools in Livingston and West Orange. Her breadth and depth of knowledge is an incredible asset to Stonybrook Day Camp.

Janis makes sure that all necessary medical policies are enforced to insure the safety and well being of your child. Janis administers daily medication if your child requires it. She makes sure all our campers are well taken care of. Whether a camper comes in for a band-aid or a hug, Janis is always ready, willing and able to cater to their specific needs.

Jen joins Janis in the Health Center. Jen comes to us with thirteen years of experience as a nurse. She has worked at St. Barnabas and currently works at Morristown Memorial Hospital in the surgical recovery unit. Jen, like Janis, treats your children as her own.

Both women have children that have spent many summers at Stonybrook. All three of Janis’s boys enjoyed many summers at camp. Jen’s two girls are currently here at camp. Both Jen and Janis are an integral part of the Stonybrook Team.
