For our campers in Nursery through Kindergarten, they had
a very special day. It was our
annual Teddy Bear Picnic and campers brought in their favorite cuddly friend
(not all were bears) to camp.
Campers were able to eat lunch, with their stuffed animals as guests, at
a special picnic. In addition to lunch, we read teddy bear stories and
snacked on watermelon and Teddy Grahams. Everyone's stuffed animal
enjoyed the festivities (don’t ask how we know, but we know) and then the
stuffed animals went to rest in the cubbies until it was time to board the
buses for home. A wonderful time was had by all, campers and their
special friends!
