All About: Electives & Hobbies

Some of our campers LOVE tennis and some LOVE art.  Some LOVE dance and some LOVE golf.  We understand that our campers have their preferences, so while we like exposing our campers to a healthy mix of all of our activities, we also offer them a time to choose what they want to do.  We call it ELECTIVES & HOBBIES and our campers LOVE it.  For our campers (First grade and up) they get to choose what they want to do individually and for our Kindergarten campers, they pick their hobbies as a group and go experience the activity together.  

Every week we change up the offerings, and on Monday our specialists share with the entire camp the menu of elective options for the week.  They are posted on a white board and then our campers get to make their selections.  We may help guide a camper in making a decision if they need assistance but usually they immediately know what they want to do.  

For our week one options, we had a great variety to choose from.  See our picture below for the 12 options we offered our campers for week 1 and yes, we know, being a kid is good.   

And yes, the options will change for week 2 so we always provide new experiences for our campers.  Enjoy!
