Stonybrook Spotlight: Max Brown


Max Brown can best be described as one happy camper.  He is always smiling and just fun to be around.  His counselors also commented that he is a sweet boy, who cares about his fellow campers, and he is also a great listener. And when they think about what makes Max tick, well, he is seriously passionate about baseball.

We interviewed Max, who was super excited to be interviewed, and he gave us some insight into life as a Kindergarten boy at SBDC.

Favorite food: Bagels and waffles
Favorite activity at home:  soccer with dad
Other:   He has two younger sisters.

Max’s Favorite Camp Activity
Max's face lit up, “Baseball.”

Favorite memory at camp
He answered quickly and with confidence, “Ice cream with my friends.  And I love all of my camp friends.”

Advice for campers
His advice is simple, “Come on. Have fun.”

We also asked Max what he wants to be when he grows up and he responded, “A baseball player.”  And then we asked him if he loves SBDC and he responded with a loud, “YES!!!!!!!”  We are thrilled he loves camp because we love Max!
