Here at camp, we pride ourselves on flexibility and the importance we place on our reaction to the needs and wants of our campers. In response to high temperatures, we adjust programming and take extra measures to keep things fun, while making sure your children are safe and well-cared for.
Our decision to adjust programming is an easy one because our number one priority is the safety of everyone at camp. This is maintained on several fronts. Every effort is made to keep our campers cool, comfortable and entertained. We add extra swim periods at the pool. Water coolers are kept full all over camp. Frequent announcements are made reminding the counselors and campers to take breaks and stop and drink water. We also regularly remind everyone to reapply sunscreen. When it comes to sunscreen, we are on top of that too. We make sure that sunscreen is applied well and applied often. We strategically place water sprinklers around camp so our campers can enjoy them as they moved from one activity to another. We are always cognizant of the sun and adjust our programming accordingly. In addition, we will be bringing groups over to Splash Park.
