Spring Fling

Special thanks to all who came out for Stonybrook’s Spring Fling this past Saturday. It was a fabulous day filled with familiar faces and camp fun. We had kids and parents bouncing on the jumpy pillow, checking out our ATVs and repelling through our challenge course. The big chess set had lots of action and as did our camp boats. Pizza, snow cones and cotton candy were enjoyed by all, and with regards to water, we definitely had “two in the belly and one on head” (it was a warm day and we pushed water, water and more water).

We were pleased to have folks from Liberty Science Center and REI join us. They were able to share info on products, resources and family activities. We are happy to announce that Matthew Atlas was the winner of the REI Kids Camp Chair and Liz McNutt was the winner of the REI Squirt Hydration Pack. Congrats to them both!

We were also happy to share camp with some new friends and potential campers who came to learn more about Stonybrook. Thank you to those families who brought their friends and made recommendations about our camp- referrals are truly the best compliment.

We hope all enjoyed the day and it got everyone excited for the summer season. Only 54 days till June 28th our First day of camp !
