Field Day was so much fun today! The calendar said “SUPER WACKY FIELD DAY”, but that was an understatement.
Our campers moved through 18 different activities with their group, led by our specialists. The campers, counselors and specialists had so much fun at each and every location. Some of the activities included: Frisbee Distance Toss, , Junk Yard Relay, Marble Toes, Shoe Race, Hula Hooping, Sack Race, Baseball Accuracy, Miniature Golf, Shoe Kick, Basketball Hot Shots, Basketball Obstacle Course, Balance Beam Bean Bag, Bowling, Yarn Ball Toss….just to name a few…Whew!!! Ask your child which activities were their favorite and to describe what was involved...
This was a new addition to our already jam-packed program schedule. Judging by the response from our campers, this will become a permanent part of our programming going forward!! Our campers will certainly look forward to this day next summer, as will we!!!
