By Dan W.RANDOLPH, NJ - In the rocketry elective, campers build, decorate and launch 1406 Alpha III model rockets! Rich Gordon is leading our rocketry elective for his third year. Throughout the week, campers create their rockets, culminating in launch-day Friday. The campers wear special rocket sombreros as the rockets fly over 400 feet high! Trailblazer boys counselor Ian Schwindel assists with the elective. Ian says, "I look forward to it every Friday. Nothing gets me more pumped than a good rocket launch!"
